Golden Extra Heavy Gel

Thicker than Golden Heavy Gels. Excellent for holding peaks.

Golden Gel Mediums are produced with 100% Acrylic Polymer Dispersion. Extra Heavy Gel (Semi-Gloss) is ideal for extending colours, altering sheen, changing body, increasing translucency, adhering collages, and increasing film integrity. Dried film has a translucent wax-like appearance. Dried film has excellent flexibility, water and UV resistance. Minimum film formation temperature is 49°F / 9°C.

Directions: For slower drying, use Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid or Retarder. Common supports contain materials that can cause discolouration in glazes. Minimize by sealing support with GAC 100. Best adhesion on clean, non-oily surfaces. Clean with soap and water.
