Castin’ Craft Easy Mold Silicone Paste

Silicone mold making rubber for non-sag, fast curing applications.

EasyMold® Silicone Paste is the ideal product for both horizontal and vertical applications where a non-drip, -run or -sag mold making product is required. This 2-part paste produces detailed, strong yet flexible, reusable molds. Molds made with EasyMold® Silicone Paste do not require a mold release and are safe for use with FastCast™ Urethane Casting Resin, Castin’Craft® Casting Resins, EasyCast® Clear Casting Epoxy, plaster, concrete, wax, soap, low melt metals, baking, chocolates, ice cubes etc. EasyMold® Silicone Paste has up to 15 minutes of working time and cures in as little as 3 hours at 70°F / 21°C. This product is best applied with a brush, spatula or pastry knife.

Note: Porous items such as wood or plaster should be sealed to prevent penetration of the Silicone Paste into the pores of the material. Other items such as soap, rubber etc., may contain sulfur or stearates, which will inhibit the cure of EasyMold® Silicone Paste. To resolve these issues, apply several coats of clear fast drying acrylic spray to the piece prior to applying Silicone Paste.
